Your food is at its best when it’s on your plate ready to be enjoyed It’s perfect in your fridge ready to be used or stored in the freezer for another time It’s at its worst when it’s in your bin‼
Food is wasted in all sectors related to food, at the production factories, in the supermarket, restaurants, households, and buffets are some of the biggest examples of not preserving blessings. What we see in many buffets at the restaurants and the amounts of food wastage when people didn’t eat all of it, it’s usually thrown away.
All this food that’s being thrown away is enough to abolish the issue of malnutrition in the world!!!
When food is lost or wasted, all the resources that were used to produce this food, including water, land, energy, labor, and capital – go to waste! In addition, the disposal of food loss and waste in landfills, leads to greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to climate change.
Food is wasted in tonnes in the world, food waste has become a habit: buying more food than we need at markets, letting fruits and vegetables spoil at home or taking larger portions than we can eat.
Here are some different ideas for dealing with the excess food from our houses:

All most every single one of us has been wasteful when it comes to food. Many of us do not think twice when we throw away food that is uneaten or left to spoil. Much of this is down to a lack of understanding in relation to the food production chain. There are those who believe that we have an endless supply of products and those who simply have no idea. This is where we have to begin to educate people.
Raising awareness on food waste begins at school, and our role is to continue in doing so, everyone should do their best to keep the recycling going for this generation and the upcoming generations, so that the next generations, find land which they can live on.
